Published by Offley Port and the Museu do Douro as a guide to the museum’s inaugural exhibition in 2008.
This is a fabulous large format book that is packed full of information about Joseph James Forrester, Port, the Douro and the Port trade. Beautifully illustrated, including photographs of many of the items from the exhibition, this book was very kindly gifted to me by Ligia Marques of Sogrape Vinhos during a visit to Quinta do Boa Vista in 2012.

This interesting little book is a series of short articles penned by the author in the summer of 1925. Having read it cover to cover, I must confess that I see absolutely no connection between the contents and the title.
