An excellent book which is a must-have and should be read by anyone who enjoys tasting wine and attending wine tastings.
This book is an update on Simon’s first major work “The History of the Wine Trade in England” that was published in 1905. Essential reading for bubbly fans!
A short description of some of the main wine regions and their wines. Mostly pictures.

First published in 1949 with the title “The Seven Ages of Justerini’s” to commemorate the bicentenary of one of London’s oldest surviving wine merchants.
This book now looks very outdated but is still an interesting reference. Each wine region is covered by an expert of the day, Wyndham Fletcher providing the chapter on Portugal, including Port, with the entire work being edited by André L. Simon.
