A special edition, limited to 120 numbered copies for sale, published as part of “The Douro Series”, by The Port Lover’s Library (Isaac Oelgart).
This small booklet was produced by E. Lamontagne and Sons of New York, who appear to have been the United States and Canada agents for Sandeman.
The book contains some interesting insights to the production and shipping of Port in the late 19th century and contains a number of full-page illustrations by Henry Vizetelly.
Originally published in 1884, this facsimile edition was published in 1996.
